About Us

We cater for a range of standards and levels of participation.

 Members enter a variety of races: road; cross-country; trail; relays.

 Training lasts for about an hour or so on Tuesday & Thursday (Club Night) evenings - mostly off-road including:

 Runs of 5 to 8 miles - with "run-backs" to encourage slower runners (Club Nights)

 Shorter intervals, speed training and hill sessions, at your own pace. (Tuesday Sessions)

 Monthly handicap race. (Club Night)

 Away-days throughout the summer months at a variety of locations in Berkshire & Oxfordshire.

 Long runs also arranged periodically at weekends.

 The emphasis is on enjoyment and personal achievement in a sociable group.

 The Downland Sports Centre, Manor Crescent, Compton, West Berkshire RG20 6NU

 Training details are emailed weekly to members and added to our Events Calendar, Facebook and Twitter

 We often adjourn to a local pub for post-run warm-down on club nights (Thursdays).
